my dads bestfriend tried getting me into a bedroom alone when I was in 7th grade because I was sneaking Boones Farm out the fridge & he thought I was drunk.. I'm now 23.. I've never told my "dad" or my mom.. Only 3 people know about it.. The bastard died of a heart attack I think my 8th grade year so I figured what was the point of me telling anyone..

This is a sticky situation. I’d advice you to get advice from someone that has experience with this cases? I’m sorry that happened to you. You must have felt so scared. Luckily, nothing happened. 
In this case, you gotta think about your best friend and how she remembers her dad. She doesn’t have a clue that her dad was a pedophile and that can damage anyone. So proceed with caution , also be prepared for her to be in denial and possibly cut ties with you
