Comment for other combinations. Out of curiosity. I know I didn’t cause my MC, however, I did not drink coffee with my first and it was a full term healthy pregnancy. I did drink coffee during my second pregnancy and it resulted in a loss. This cycle I’m going to wean off coffee to try again.

I drank coffee with my first (one small coffee & one decaffinated coffee in the afternoon), healthy pregnancy, baby arrived on due date. Drank coffee with second, miscarried early at 7wks. Didn't drink coffee with third as I was SO SICK 24/7...currently 32+2. I'd say there's definitely not a correlation.

I only drink it when I NEED it but in moderation I don’t think that would be a cause for MC. My doctor actually recommended me to drink a bit of caffeine because I get headaches. Obviously, so what feels right for you and your pregnancy, but I wouldn’t worry about caffeine in moderation.

Please don’t torture yourself girlie I’ve had three losses & looked for every explanation could it have been my diet (I was a vegetarian), exercise, etc. my drs assured me it was nothing I did. You are allowed 200mg if caffeine during pregnancy. I’m drinking it right now & I’m 17 weeks. Baby dust to you

When I found out I was pregnant with my first I cut out caffeine cold turkey. I did start drinking coffee again though at the end of my 2nd trimester and 3rd. We had a healthy 8lb 4 oz baby girl.

I cut out caffeine during my first pregnancy. Petfectly healthy baby. If I stopped for Starbucks, I'd get decaf. I didnt drink Dr. Pepper at all either 😖 
This time around, I'm still drinking caffeine while ttc. I've heard I shouldn't, but my coffee is hard to give up lol. 
My sister and one of my friends drank Dr. Pepper all throughout their pregnancies and while breastfeeding, and their babies were colicky (sp?) and crying all the time. So I do think caffeine can play a role.

I have been pregnant 6 times. I have drank coffee each time I have been pregnant - in varying degrees. maybe just one or two cups here and there. with my daughter I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 11.5 weeks and had continued as normal - 8/9 cups a day.
I have 5 children alive and well, coffee consumed with all. I had a miscarriage at the beginning of June this year - I was 11w1d and baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks. I drank a single cup of coffee each day through that pregnancy. it was a planned and very much wanted pregnancy that we had tried for 11 cycles for.
Sadly, miscarriages happen - that's the way of life I'm afraid. the vast majority of miscarriages are attributed to chromosomal issues and nature's way of survival of the fittest.
it's a cold, hard, brutal fact and one that is very difficult to swallow when it happens to you..but there it is, there isn't a way to sugar coat it I'm afraid.
now, the only way I can get my head in some sort of space to move forward and try to somehow get through without being a robot is to acknowledge why most miscarriages happen and to further acknowledge that though I feel the loss of my baby tremendously and the pain of that for me is still incredibly real and  raw.. that I am taking that pain and that loss in order that my baby didn't suffer any at all... and you know what? that makes it sit a little better with me

I know there’s research out there that links the two, but it’s highly unlikely why you suffered a MC. Sorry for your loss

I limited my caffeine but still had 1 cup a day. And had healthy pregnancies 
But like someone else said, don’t beat yourself up looking for a cause. Xx

I tried to limit my caffeine intake but I certainly didn’t cut it out. I had a small but healthy baby boy full term. Somethings are out of our control. good luck on your journey!

I’m 23 weeks and have at least a couple of coffees a week. It’s a craving of mine. I try to keep my caffeine intake very low but not had any problems having the off coffee every week x
