How do you find a marriage counselor?

My husband and I definitely need to seek help, because we cannot communicate, like at all. We fight all the time, and I feel like all we do is go around in circles. We’ve talked about going to counseling but I have no idea where to start... I’ve looked up counselors in our area, but do I just pick one?

Yep. You pick one and schedule a session. Then see what you think. 
Finding a counselor is a little like dating. You might not mesh with the first counselor that you visit, and it is totally okay to say “hey, this isn’t going to work...”. Sometimes it takes a couple tries to find the counselor who’s approach works for you and your partner. 
You also are starting a relationship with the counselor. You’re building trust and getting to know each other. Sometimes you can just tell that someone doesn’t get you or your partner, or sometimes you can tell that a counselor totally gets you. Either way, keep your communication honest.

Call your health insurance provider to see who is covered in your area

I’d start with my health insurance provider. Look at your card. Sometimes it’ll have mental health and/or counseling on it. Call that number and they can tell you who is covered on your plan. 
Other than that, if you belong to a church, you can call them and set up a counseling session.
