Emotional abuse or am I just sensitive??

I know there are many women who go through much worse and I mean no disrespect by this what so ever, but this happens often not just here lately. It has really started to bother me. My husband keeps telling me I look stupid. I brought home some purplish hair dye the other day and when I showed him he didn't like it. He kept telling me I was going to look like a fucking idiot and like fucking Barney is how he put it. Well I did it anyway and he's still set he doesn't like it at all. Then yesterday I bought myself a new bathing suit it is a one piece but it's one of the ones that come up above the hips and he basically said I looked like a slut in it. Then today we were at the store and I wanted a new pair of sandals. We are leaving for the beach tomorrow morning. Well apparently he thinks you can't wear sandals on the beach and you have to wear flip flops. As i was picking a pair out I was trying them on and the whole time he was telling me I was going to look stupid and like a dumbass because I will be the only one on the beach wearing sandals. Well when I told him I was seriously getting sick of him telling me I look stupid he said well I'm not being mean I'm just trying to be honest with you. Am I being too sensitive or is he fucked up for talking to me like that?
