2nd year anniversary gift ideas?

My bf is soooo hard to shop for/ craft for. He isn't really material and doesn't want a lot of things. He likes to dress nice but he's a marine so he doesn't have a lot of occasion to wear ties or button ups. Last year, I got him a humidor with the date we met engraved on it, and he has never used it. I got him cologne on Valentine's Day. Do any of you have any advice? I was going to get him a nice pair of shoes and write a note, thanks for "walking" into my life two years ago, but his mom literally just bought him a new pair when we were up visiting for his birthday last week and I am officially out of ideas. What have you gotten for your s.o.'s? This is an S.O.S. XD
