Things no one told me about breastfeeding
1.) It's a mess. you always have milk on you, and sometimes you'll smell like it.
2.) You basically don't even wear clothes anymore, at least at first.
Also, everyone in your house will probably see your nipples.
3.) You could get a fever, all the way up to 101.5, complete with chills and such, and it's totally normal.
4.)That totally normal fever makes you feel like death
5.) You and baby get frustrated.
6.) When you finally get a good latch, it's awesome, especially if you have a hard time getting there.
7.) Insurance takes forever to send an electric pump, and a hand pump is actually exhausting.
