What to do when you’ve fallen out of love with all of your favorite baby names...

We have gone back to the drawing board to many times to count.  These three names are the only names my husband is willing to use. I don’t want to wait til the baby is born to decide.

Carson 
Cal 
Owen has become too popular 👎🏻
Carson means “son of the marsh dwellers” 😑
Cal is just Cal. Not short for anything 🤔
They’ve all lost that special something I once loved about them and I don’t know how to get it back.  
What do I do?

My husband and I were debating between our top two favorites. We decided to use one for a week and refer to the baby as such in conversation and texts. Then the following week we used the other name. It helped us decide which one felt right. Maybe you do that? If none of them feel right then it’s back to the drawing board.

What about Callum or Callahan? Calihan? Then the name could be shortened to Cal? They’re all cute names 😊

We named our son Carson in January! I actually love it! My husband is basically a mountain man which is why he loves Carson, after Kit Carson who was a cowboy/mountain man. The name actually has a really cool background! I wouldn’t necessarily say no to a name because of the literal meaning.
