Would you believe your 9 year old if they told you this?

So last night while I was putting my 9 year old son to bed I was asking him if he still didn’t have a bed at his biological fathers home. He responded “NO I still sleep on the couch in the living room while bio dad sleeps in his nice comfy bed. But one night I got really scared and snuck out and walked to grandmas house in the dark she left the door unlocked for me. And I went and got in her bed. She was really surprised when she woke up”.

Mind you the bio dads visitation is supposed to be supervised at at the grandmothers home only. Bio dad is never supposed to be left alone with child. With all the details my child told me of how he got out of the house his bio dad and bio dads brother we’re both in there beds asleep. Even the details of him not getting in trouble for it. I do not think there is anyway he can be lying.
