Is anyone else wondering what to do in the heat? I’m so anxious to take Archer to the beach or park because I’m worried about sun exposure. When can we start hanging outside? Momma needs a tan lol!

😂 I wear a large sun-hat and keep baby shaded; you can also bring a squirt bottle (I got one at the dollar tree) and mist baby if they get sweaty. As long as they are out of direct sun you are golden.

Ya I’ve had him in his sun tent but he can’t sit up by himself yet and hates lying down so I pretty much have to sit in it with him which is ridiculous because then we both get hot and sweaty and are both miserable! I read you’re not supposed to put baby sunscreen on until they are 6 months either. But then I see people out with their babies at the beach and I’m like am I doing this wrong?? So much conflicting advice! I just want to go swimming already!

Our baby LOVES the outdoors - whether it be hot Illinois heat or humid Florida air. We take him out at least once a day when the weather allows us to. We make sure to go early in the mornings, during sunset or anytime when it is cooler or breezy. We always keep him in the shade or under his shaded stroller. If we are hot or he seems hot (which is rare cause we choose when to go out wisely), then we go back indoors.

Same! This heat wave has been crazy! We are vacationing in Maine, so it’s much cooler by the coast than it is in town... But, If you plan on going to the the beach, (we haven’t taken on that adventure yet cause I’m so anxious as well) I’d just bring a baby tent, somewhere you could get covered in the shade... A good SPF sun hat and an SPF water shirt/pant jumper are perfect. Just wouldn’t plan a whole day there maybe just a few hours... We can do it! 😋
