Wrong due date??

Question

How often do doctors get due dates wrong? My baby has been head down for at least two weeks and he is soo low. I have contractions just not bad ones. Everyone thinks im going to go into labor early because my due date is suppose to be Sept 1st. Even I don't see myself carrying him for too much longer.

Omg I’m the exact same!!!! I’m due 1st September and my baby’s been head down since about 27 weeks and he’s very very low!!

With my first she was low and engaged early on. Head down since 20 weeks. Had her at 38. My second was engaged and dropped at 32 weeks (was also 1cm and 50% effaced at 32 weeks.l) Had her at 39. They can be head down for a long time.

My son was super low and was like that since 20 weeks. I remember because at the anatomy scan she was having a hard time seeing all of his head because it was so low. I had him at 40 weeks and 3 days.

it goes by your last period and when u had sex during your ovulation  week. my first babe was head down the whole time and I never dilated early or nothing...had him at 37+6. this baby now is head down I'm HUUUUGGGEE and 30wekks but no indication of dilation.....but very strong painful bh for the last month. I hope she comes at 37 weeks too.

I’m 39 weeks. Baby has been head down since 36. No dilation and only softened at 38 weeks. Braxton Hicks just started at 37 weeks.

my daughter has been head down since 24 weeks, I'm 35 weeks now. Not really an indication of early labor

My boy been head down from about 28 weeks, I’m 32 now and he’s still head down. But I’ve never had Braxton Hicks.

yup. my period app and my family doc both said I was due September 28. my ob first visit said October 1. I went for my anatomical scan a few weeks later and the  requisition he sent in to the ultrasound techs said I was due September 22. I visited my doc a few later and then he said my due date was September 29...... Long story short I'm due at the end of September.

my baby was extremely low and heads down around 30 weeks and I had really bad Braxton hicks, but then she flipped again a couple weeks later and has been higher up again. a baby can reposition a lot before being born and can be heads down for several weeks before labor actually starts
