Can Nipple Confusion Be Corrected

Help me, mamas. My 9 day old has been such a fussy eater for the past 36 hours. Crying, screaming, pushing away from my nipple after 2 sucks. I thought it was my letdown so I pumped until the milk started flowing and then offered him the breast, but that didn’t work either.

I caved and gave him a bottle of breast milk because he needed to eat something, and now he still won’t take my breast at all and is crying harder than he ever has when I try to nurse him. Can this be fixed, or am I already doomed to have a bottle fed baby? I’m so upset over it, I want to nurse my baby.
