Spotting and late 2nd period

Hi ladies,

Just wondering if anyone has experienced or is experiencing irregular periods PP. I had my first PP period at 8 weeks after birth, which was really heavy. Now I’m 5 days late for my 2nd period, but started spotting bright red blood, mostly seen when I wipe (sorry TMI). I’ve taken 3 pregnancy tests, which are all negative. My husband and I have only been using the withdrawal method 😩. I was planning on starting my birth control after this period cycle. Anyone else having similar issues? Also, I’m not breastfeeding at all, so was expecting a pretty regular period like after the birth of my 1st child.
