Should I go through his phone?

boyfriends phone vibrated while watching Netflix he hung over bed to check instead of just picking up his phone and when I looked over his shoulder he was swiping away his notifications. Now his phone vibrated at around 3 AM! and just now at 4:45 ! I'm stuck between checking and seeing something that will hurt me for no reason (because we're together 24/7 and I don't necessarily consider convo cheating) and minding my business so that we stay on good terms and I don't push him away. I'm probably gone check regardless but what y'all think 🤔 I just don't wanna get caught and this bed is going to creak when I reach so ain't no going back !

I'd look at what the notification is. I wouldn't go through the phone though. My husband's phone goes off in the middle of the night too. I'm such a light sleeper that it wakes me up. He usually has it on silent. One morning at like 4 am it went off and woke me up. I rolled over to turn his sound off. It was literally just his ESPN app telling him some random basketball crap 😂

From my experience if there are trust issues then u suspect something is going on. If u constantly check his phone or are worried that he is doing something then what kind of relationship do u have? I have been there and was dumb founded by someone who cheated on me. We never hid phones then he got all cautious with his. I didn’t think anything of it well one day we were getting ready to take his mom and nana to lunch and his phone chimes (I assumed it was them) and he was outside so I went to answer it. Well to my surprise it was his Uhm new found gf... yup it sucks but it happens. Hardest thing is getting past he trust issues. I am with an amazing man; he treats me like a princess and we love each other so much and I trust him with my life but sometimes my insecurities creep in but I just tell myself he is not the same person. If u can’t trust him then u should move on it isn’t fair to either of u!

If you don't consider convo cheating, and you know he has been with you 24/7, what's the problem then? Obviously all he is doing is havin g convos with whoever it is.. and you JUST said that's not a problem for you... so.. I guess I'm a little confused..

Honestly, it sounds like you have a reason to check. It’s your relationship and you deserve to know. People will say things like “talk to him” but they act like people don’t lie. If they will cheat what makes you think they are not liars? 🤔 if you don’t find anything, that’s great. At least now you have a peace of mind. If you do find something, that’s unfortunate but it allows you to move on and not get stuck in a harmful relationship
