Hemorrhoid (tmi post) no pictures just descriptions

I have notified my doctor but I’m having issues with bleeding and hemorrhoid . They are not painful but extremely swollen and will randomly just bleed to the point where it’s staining my underwear. My doctor says hemorrhoids are extremely common but this seems severe. Anyone having the same issue? She prescribed a steroid cream that I am using but I’m not using a lot of it due to her directions and steroids are not proven safe in pregnancy.
