Posterior placenta ??

Any moms have this? This is my second pregnancy and I called my obgyn and asked what type of placenta I had because I’m 22 weeks +1 day and I hardly even feel movements compared to my first pregnancy. I noticed iv been having a lot of back pain is this linked to posterior placenta? Can anyone give me more information on how it affects your labor and what it is and etc? t.i.a:)

a posterior placenta is a 'normal' placenta. it means it's at the back and top of the uterus. perfectly normal

Like other comments are saying, that’s a “normal” placenta. Anterior makes it harder to feel movements.

Actually posterior placenta is the ideal placenta. It’s anterior placentas that can cause problems and make it harder to feel your baby. I’m posterior and felt her first movement at 16 weeks.

I am also having posterior placenta 33 weeks and counting, i had spotting in 2nd trimester. Now again ultrasound is scheduled in 35 week . Hope it goes up . And yes i am also witnessing a lot of back pain which literally makes me cry sometimes because it becomes unbearable. Hope your placenta moves up too
