Work Crush

Ok need some advice. I work at a chain food place and there is a guy who is really cute. We talk a lot and help each other out. We also have a snapstreak. Recently, during one of our conversations he asked if I was going out with the guy I went to prom with. I said no we are just friends. He then proceeded to ask if I was going out with any guy. I said no. He then quickly moved away from the topic and asked about my favorite tv show and food. Does he like me? Should I ask him out? Or should I wait for him to ask me?
