When should I buy a breast pump?

I don’t want to waste my money and get one before I deliver if I can’t breastfeed but I don’t want to wait too late either Incase I do need it right away. 35 weeks help! Thank you

Go on the aeroflow breast pump website. You’ll have to enter your info and insurance info and doctor info. From there you’ll see what your insurance will cover and there could be one or more that are covered 100% or some that are at least partially covered so you won’t have to come out of pocket for all of it. A lot of people use that website. That’s what I used but I’m not due until Jan and they’re sending it in November

Almost all insurance companies are required under the ACA to provide one for each pregnancy. Go through Aeroflow. I submitted my insurance approval Tuesday night, got my email the next morning showing what I was eligible for, and within 10 days, I had everything. I was around 34 weeks.

My insurance paid for mine and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. I had to wait to within 30 days of my due date to order it, but it should be here in 5-7 days. 😊

Put it in your registry, I bought one for a close friend after she gave birth because no one in her family did. I also went half on one for another friend and I bought my sister one for her 2nd pregnancy (1st one was old by then). 
I’ve also heard that some insurance companies will cover a breast pump, you should inquire about that. And some hospitals will give you a manual one for free

I sent my husband out to get one the day I was discharged :) used the hospitals one before that.
