For the last 3 months

my period stops after 7 days. I get a break for 2 days, then it comes again and lasts for another 5-7 days. Dec 2017 I went in for painful cramping throughout my cycles. Sonogram turned out normal. So did blood tests. With these period irregularities, I've also noticed more recurrent headaches/migraines that intensify with movement. I'm avoiding a doctor visit because they are expensive where I live (Chicago suburbs) and I do not have insurance. Is anybody experiencing or have experienced these symptoms now or in the past? If so, would you mind sharing what it was or how you managed it?
