babies close in age

we currently have an 8 year old and a baby who is almost 4 months old. we are thinking of starting to try for another when he is 6 months old. I'm on the fence daddy is all on board. hes a huge help and an amazing father and husband. how do people with two kids under a year and a half handle it? do you wish you waited longer? I've always wanted two back to back. so far both times I've gotten pregnant as soon as we started trying. I'd take a two year leave from my job. for those who saw my post yesterday about being asked to adopt a little boy we have decided to take him in until his father can get on his feet. he is a great dad but doesnt have the means to support his son right now. with his move he should be able to get back on his feet and straighten his shit out within 6 months. I've told him the baby is welcome to stay as long as needed. so we would realistically have an 8 yo, 3 yo, and the two babies.
