Is it wrong for a family member or friend to kiss your baby on the mouth?

Asking because family members of my child think it's ok for them to kiss my baby on the mouth even when I tell them not to, I don't kiss my baby on the mouth and I don't want them to either but they don't listen to me and do it anyway

It’s wrong for anyone to do anything in regards to your baby after you’ve asked them not to. 
Wether they agree with your “rule” or not, it’s your child and they need to respect your decision. 
Personally, anyone who did not respect my wishes about my child would not be spending time with my child.

they need to respect what you say. my fiances parents know damn well not to kiss her on the mouth anyone for that matter i made that very clear through fb and in person. im her mother u abid by my rules or u dont see her period. ive see babies die bc dey were kissed on da mouth im very cautious with who even stays with her.

next time they do it flick them in the lip and explains to the that if they have anything like herpes then not only will it be painful for your child but it could kill them, you don't have to have sores to have herpes you could just be a carrier, I have it but very rarely do I get sores which are typically the contagious time frame, I've kissed my little boy on the mouth three times and they were all accidents because he tries to turn his head and give kisses back

Have heard of babies dying after being kissed on the mouth. Something about a herpes virus that 60% of people carry. You don't have to have symptoms or have ever had a cold sore to pass it on, and babies die. So yes it is wrong, and it is disgusting that your family members can't respect your boundaries.

Our opinions on what we do with our babies don’t matter.  Your baby, your decision. If you don’t want them kissing your baby, then they shouldn’t be doing it. And if they can’t abide by your rules then they won’t be seeing your baby much and they definitely don’t get to hold your LO.

I accidentally chose no… Sorry about that… Of course if you ask them to stop and they still do it, it is wrong! I would make it very clear that if they do not listen to your rules that the baby will not be around them. Fair and simple. They want to see your baby, they need to listen to your rules.
