Big problem😔

So I have a boyfriend and I love him so much, he’s the best thing to ever happen to me and he makes me so happy and treats me like no one ever has. I can’t imagine my life without him and he’s the kindest, loveliest man.

But there’s one massive problem with him that I hate so much and it’s that he’s homophobic. It makes me feel sick that he is and that I’m in love with a homophobic man. I am not homophobic at all so he angers me so much and I’ve argued with him about it before. He would never be abuseful to someone who was gay but when he shares his views with me it just makes me so upset.

He was born and raised in a really traditional country where I’m pretty sure most people are homophobic so there’s no way he’s going to change. It just breaks my heart bc he is genuinely a nice guy but this honestly ruins it for me. I want to spend my life with him but I feel like a monster for even considering spending my life with someone homophobic. What should I do
