extreme clingyness help?!

my daughter is fixing to turn 1 next month shes been clingy from the start but its been absoloutly ridiculous the past 2 months like if I'm in the room with her and not at least sitting in the floor with her she will scream bloody murder until I sit with her like real tears then she will climb on my and cling to me like I just abandoned her or something ive tried the cry out method ive tried giving her distractions idk what to do its getting out of hand I have to leave the the room * her father watches her when I do* just fee her to calm down pls help
