Am I being creepy?

Ok so there’s this guy that I’ve talked to on Snapchat before. Two times we’ve talked for several weeks, and we’re both really into each other at first, but later it seems like I’m the only one initiating the convo. Once I start it he would be interested and respond fast, but I got tired of almost always starting it and so we slowly stopped talking. Is it creepy and weird if I try to suddenly start talking to him again? He’s sooo hot, but I don’t want him to think that I’m weird for starting a whole new convo for the third time in like a year and a half. Helllpooo
