I went into an appointment on the 5th and was told I was still 1cm!! This being my second baby I was feeling a bit discouraged! That night I started losing more mucus plug chunks but with some bleeding. I thought it was from being checked. 38 weeks 5 days the next day

, and I woke around 5:30am to go pee. I lost more chunks with blood and had blood when I wiped. I also had some mild cramping. Around 9:30 the cramping became contractions that were 2-3 minutes apart. I waited 30 minutes and decided to get ready for hospital. I was 4cm at 10:30!! The contractions came a lot more painfully than my sons, and by 2:30 I had my epidural. At 4pm they said I was 7cm dilated, 100 effaced and at 0 station. We used peanut ball and 15 minutes later I could no longer take the pressure! They checked and I was 10cm!!!! I pushed through 4 contractions and had baby girl at 4:37pm!! Did I mention she came on me and my husbands wedding anniversary!!??!!! 6 years together, 4 years married and now 2 children!!!!

My son was born deaf and we’d found out it was genetic. We expected she would be born deaf too. Olivia Noelle passed her hearing screening!!! 😃
