Tampons on holiday?

Ok so I’m 15 and I really don’t like using tampons at all because I find that they are always really uncomfortable and they normally leak quite quickly.

I’m going on holiday tomorrow, which will be the 3rd day of my period, so after a day of traveling I will still have 2/3 days left of bleeding. Basically I just need advice on whether to just stay clear of the pool for two days, or if I should risk Tampons and hope for the best?
