How many children do you have?

How do you answer this question when you've lost a child? 
I'm a loss mama to my angel daughter, delivered at 20 weeks 5 days. She was my first.

I have a step son (1), my first son past away at 3 months old (2), I have another son (3), and a daughter (4).
I always say I have four! I spread the joy about my lost sons life. He was an amazing wonderful and happy boy! I love to talk about him.

I have miscarried twice now and I continue to say none when asked... It’s painful, but explaining to others is painful especially if they don’t understand the way I do. So sorry to you ❤️

I say 2 boys with me and 1 we lost. He was real for me I carried him for 5 months and I’m not worried if someone else is sad for me. His creation and loss will always affect me, he was my son.

I say one. I have one living child, and I don’t want to bring up the sadness and loss anytime someone asks when I say two. It’s just easier for me.

I hate feeling like I can’t mention my babies for others discomfort. I had 2 very early Mc and then I had my daughter (will be 2 in 2 weeks) my son whose heart stopped at 14wks and youngest daughter who’s heart stopped at 20 wks and ashes I have at home. Recently at a dr appt the nurse asked, “oh is she your only girl?” Talking about my 2 year old and all I could say was yes. Then at a restaurant I was told by our server that my daughter needs a sibling and all I could do was smile and then turn to my husband and say, “how do I say that she did and we just cremated her?” It’s so hard because when I do mention them I get these looks and awkward silence. I try my best to at least acknowledge my daughter that we had cremated and when I’m told I need a boy I mention that I was going to have a boy but he didn’t make it. It’s a hit or miss on what to say at least for me.

I say I have 3. I have a 5year old girl, son passed away when I was 4 months pregnant and I’m 25 weeks with my 🌈 another boy. Or if people ask what I’m having I say a boy and then they usually make some comment about oh u have one of each and then I will say I had a son who passed away.
