Why are my periods 9 days long?

My first period was 9 days long and I have only had 4 and they have all been 8 to 9 days and I bleed really badly

my doctar told me if you bleed heavy or clot heavy for 5 to 7 days that's normal. anything over that then talk to your obgyn. gl

Everyone’s periods are different. That just may be what your periods are for you.
If you bleed through tampons (regular or super, I guess it depends which works with your body) quickly or having painful periods then that should be something to talk to a doctor about. By quickly I think it’s like under 4 hours?
