What to tell a hardworking bf?

So lately my boyfriend has been working really hard and comes home exhausted after a long day and I want to know what could I say to him to make him know I know how hard he’s working and just lift his mood up?

Honestly probably just simple things. My SO works hard and me simply acknowledging it makes him happy. Just telling him I appreciate his hard work and occasionally doing something “special” for him.
Like, every now and then when it’s been extra rough at work I’ll make his favorite dinner, grab a movie from redbox that he’s been wanting to see or maybe a video game. Then when he gets home from work I tell him to just go ahead and unwind, that I’ll take care of baby myself and let him have time to enjoy himself. Or if he’s been exhausted then ill take care of baby myself all evening and throughout the night and let him go to sleep early and peacefully.
So maybe you can do that, do something one night that you know he enjoys doing to let him know you appreciate how hard he’s been working and you want him to enjoy himself.
