Tips for first time sex at 17??

My bf and i have been dating for 8 months, and we’ve both recently have really wanted to have sex for the first time. I’m conflicted bc i know he really wants to, but i don’t know if i’m ready yet bc it’s risky even with a condom. i want him to be my first, and i want to have experience for later on in my life, but i still kinda feel like we’re too young. Any thoughts or advice???

If you go through with it Lube (helps prevent tearing and general discomfort), condom, have him pull out if you're not on birth control. You seem very on the fence about it though so give it a month or two to really evaluate your feelings. IMO you're still in high school (I assume) do you really want to throw pregnancy risk and possible STI, and sneaking around your parents into the mix of your already crazy busy life.
