Stuffy nose??

Okay so this is my first pregnancy and I have the worst stuffy nose EVER!!!! I can’t only breath out of one nostril and I end up waking up in the middle of the night or way early in the morning like 5am and it really is starting to get uncomfortable to the point I want to cry because I can’t breath well or get enough sleep anymore has anyone else had this problem if so what did you do to help or should I call my dr?

I sleep with a roll of toilet tissue smh. I’ve even started plugging the congested nostril with bits of tissue 😫. It’s so annoying. But I’m like this all day. Randomly my nose will close up in both sides.

You can try a neti pot, saline spray or Vick’s. Of course talk to your doctor before using anything. I had the same thing. It lasted on and off throughout most of my pregnancy but it was definitely the worst toward the beginning.

I had the same it’s to do with higher levels of estrogen it causes nasal passages to swell and make more mucus , it will pass x

Try Vick’s ... I had it bad too lol I’m 33 weeks and woke up stuffy this morning too 😫

It's quite common for sinuses to swell. It was awful for me in the first trimester but luckily lightened up quite a bit though I still get flare ups. Unfortunately for some it can last the whole pregnancy, crossing my fingers it is not like that for you!! I would talk to your doctor at your next appointment to see what you can do or what medicine/treatments are safe if you're finding it too difficult to manage.
