How soon did you try again?

My SO and I just had a miscarriage last month, and we talked about trying again soon. My question for you ladies is how long did you wait to start trying for a baby again?

I had a miscarriage on feb 1st this year at 8 weeks and conceived on feb 15th😳 I’m now 24 weeks and everything is healthy and going smooth. We definitely did not plan for it to happen that way because we had no idea I could ovulate that soon. But I’m so glad we did! Obviously it happened extremely soon for us but I don’t think you’re ever fully ready. The whole first 16 weeks I was a train wreck until I started to feel movement

That’s something you should talk to your doctor about because everybody’s case is different and then make sure you and your partner should both be ready again.

My dr advised we wait until I’d had a full normal cycle so we waited about 2 months

It can also depend on how far along you were when you miscarried. The farther along, the longer you should wait.

It definitely felt weird having sex right after a miscarriage. But my doctor said once i had a new period I was medically clear. It’s really a very personal choice. Some people want a mourning period, others, like me, just want to forget it and have a successful pregnancy and baby.

I guess it's slightly different in our case..and I will explain.
we had tried for 11 cycles before finally getting our positive test. completely overjoyed we began planning - baby was due Christmas Eve. we told my children (from a previous relationship) ..my daughter was in love with baby straight away. started shopping for baby etc etc. 
6 days before my dating scan - I was 11w1d - I began spotting and cramping so went along to the EPU ..we were initially told that baby had stopped growing at 5 weeks and I would need to go back for another scan a week later - but there was no hope. went back for the second scan and they then queried whether this wasn't a normal pregnancy - they thought it could be a molar pregnancy (which isn't a baby but a mass of cells that can turn cancerous). I had already started to miscarry but it wasn't complete so I was told I would have to have a d&c; so they could examine the tissue and rule out cancer. I had the d&c; on the 19th June. I was told that should the tissue be molar that we would not be able to TTC for a year. Now this for many women who had taken the decision to TTC would be devastating....but for us it was far more than that. I'm 41 in August, so my time is definitely limited already..so it felt like a death sentence of sorts.
thankfully we were given the all clear, it had been a normal pregnancy, and we were advised we could try again when we felt ready - but they would prefer we waited for at least one cycle in order to aid with dating. so that is what we did. I ovulated on the 2nd of July and we avoided having sex for that window. 
I'm now approaching ovulation again - should be around Thursday/Friday.. and we are starting again this cycle.

I waited until I had a period post miscarriage, and then started ttc again. Everyone is different. It ended up taking my body a few months to regulate and get back to a normal regular cycle.
