Cervical mucus help!!! Maybe TMI

Ok so for a little background: my husband and I have been TTC for 5 years. I may not be ovulating (We are waiting for our appt at the fertility clinic to know for sure.) Also, I have PCOS, but since March, my periods have been exactly on time :)

When this app tells me my fertile window is beginning and my chances of getting pregnant are slightly higher, I notice my mucus gets way thicker and it’s almost slippery. Does anyone know what this might mean? I’m hoping that means that I still ovulate it just may be a very small window of ovulation that we keep missing. opk tests have yet to show that I peak. I was on progesterone hormones last year for a few months and it would only show that I was fertile, but still no ovulation peak.
