Diagnosed with a heart murmur and preeclampsia at 26 weeks

Hi ladies. I’m currently almost 26 weeks pregnant and I was having an issue with my heart suddenly pounding and so my doctor referred me to a cardiologist. I had my appointment today and found out that I have a heart murmur and preeclampsia. I will be having an echocardiogram done and a heart monitor placed next week (the doctor was going to have me do it today but I had my 2.5 year old with me and there was no way we could have done it with her there 😂) so I don’t have a whole lot of information about my heart until I have that done. Has anyone else been diagnosed with these things during pregnancy? What should I expect/look out for? I called and talked to my nurse and she told me a few things to look out for and to call them about but I’m totally blindsided because I totally thought I would go to this appointment today and they would tell me everything looked normal and send my hypochondriac butt out the door 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
