So I'm 16 and I go in to get an IUD, skyla. I've never had a pap smear before or a pelvic exam but I have wicked periods and had a cyst rupture so the discomfort was ok. I got all propped up, all set up and ready to go when my doctor said I have to go see an OBGYN. Everything's fine down there it's just she couldn't get that far in with the probe and something was in the way. Best case scenario my uterus is tilted which is ok bc it's a normal thing women have. She stated it was a tight like I was pregnant or 80 years old. I'm not pregnant, but maybe I learned my lesson from singing the Golden Girls theme song before the appointment 🤣
