Straw cup or actual cup?

Should I worry about transitioning my baby to a regular cup of she’s been using a straw cup since she was 6 months old? I always see conversations about transitioning babies to cups and I’m not sure if that includes a straw cup? I chose to do the straw cup instead of a sippy because I thought I read it was better for tooth formation. Confused!

I agree. My son is picky but he will use the Munchkin 360 cup. He is 13 months and transitioning off the bottle

Straw cups are better then traditional sippy cups but the 360 cups are best. They mimic a regular cup and are spill proof

Our LO only likes the straw ones right now. He’ll carry them around and sip all day vs any other type he’ll only take a tiny sip then throw them on the floor, ignore them all day, and get mad when we try to offer him more sips. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with allowing them to use the type of sippy they’re comfortable with.

Agree with the 360° cups. My some can drink great out of regular cups but still spill and splashes. Unfortunately, he had figured out how to get milk out of the "spill proof" munchkin 360° cups 😒
