turns his head when we do missionary

So this is a really sensitive topic for me because Ive done so much to try and fix it but I think my husband turns hus head whem we have missionary sex because my breath offends him. i have always tried preparing myself before we have sex (most of the time its planned)...but when its not, i get caught off guard and i usually dont have enough time to brush/gargle. i want to feel more connected with him...maybe kiss when we make love...but from his reaction, i dont think that will happen anytime we have sex. please tell me this happens to y'all too. what should i do? ps. ive tried gum, mints, flossing...but nothing helps when theres minited time to prepare.
