New to TTC

so my husband and I have been married for close to a year, (1 year anniversary will be Sep 23rd) and we have decided to start trying for a baby. We went to our GP and got physicals done, and got a referral for my husband to go to a urologist to get some help with his Low Testosterone and sexual issues. So we went to the urologist and they prescribed him Clomid, he has been taking it for 5 days and has noticed an increase in energy, but no progress in bed. how long does it usually take for Clomid to get into the man's system and help with TTC? Also does anyone have any success stories using Clomid during TTC? TIA for any help and comments!!
