3rd c section or vbac???

Question

My dr says do one more c section and then get my tubes tied. I was shocked because I was hoping she might let me try a vbac. 
Feb 2016 I had my first c section and Aug 2017 I had my second. 
Any advice?

I had vbac after 2 c-sections. It was hard but no complications due to the previous c-sections. Just hard because it was my first birth and had not gone into labor before since my two c-sections were preplanned because they were both in a breeched position. So I was like a first time mom in labor really 😊 I also chose not to use any painmedication and had to have a monitor on me the whole time and a doctor checking in on me and he had to be present at the delivery, because of the very slight chance of uterine rupture due to the c-sections.

If you want a vbac find a vbac friendly doctor, sounds like yours is not. The ican network is fantastic for finding a good doctor!

I’d listen to my doctor. A uterine rupture and/or hysterectomy due to a rupture is no joke, and there are some doctors who might take the risk (which is mostly to the baby), but I wouldn’t trust them. There are also many hospitals that are not equipped to handle a rupture.

I’m preg with baby no 6 had 2 natural and 2 c sections tried for vbac but failed scar started to tear I wanted a big family hense vbac thought that was it but no they said I could start trying again after 3 month and boom I’m now 31 weeks preg with baby no 6 will be 4 th c section they said if need to will just cut in a diff place .
My friend just had her 6th c section.
