First Month TTC- We are in shock!!!

This is our first month trying to conceive and I emotionally prepared my husband and myself for it to take awhile. I told him these things take months and that It’s all about timing. I had spotting on day 10 DPO and 11 DPO. I automatically assume it was AF, so I told him my period was coming. We both were a little bummed but I said we knew it wouldn’t happen the first time. Then yesterday, 13 DPO, I took a test because I was annoyed and wanted a cocktail but didn’t want to drink if there was a possibility. I was shocked when it was positive!!! We are both stunned still so I waited and took another test today just to be sure. We are over the moon excited but it still all very surprising.
