❤Blastocyst freezing - how many did you get???❤

Question

I just wondered if anyone managed to freeze their blastocysts. How many did you freeze? What stage were they at? We had 3 other blastocysts today but they haven't been frozen because they were early Blastocysts and they said that they like them to be stage 4 or 5 to freeze. I just wondered what other people's experience of freezing is. Thank you 😊❤

They have to be full blast stage to be biopsied if you are doing PGS.  Our clinic will freeze any stage otherwise.  We had 10 blasts total biopsied and frozen. 5 were PGS healthy.Two of them were 5AB, 1 4BB and 2 5BC.  Surprisingly 3 of my highly graded ones came back with fatality issues while two of poor graded were 100% normal.  One of my twins was a poor graded one and she is a healthy 10 y/o today.  Don’t stress too much about the grades.

We have 6 5-day blasts. All 3’s and 4’s.

We had 7 make it to blastocyst stage, used 1 for an unsuccessful fresh transfer, and 1 became a successful FET... 18 wks 4 days pregnant today! We have 5 still frozen.

We froze two 5 day blasts and one ended with a chemical. Still have one frozen but we decided to do another retrieval and currently have 16 2 celled embryos at day 1.

We froze 5. They were all day 4-5, First fet took was a 5AA, currently almost 7w. The others were ab or ba  and I think we had a B.B.  in Ontario cc are not considered viable and are destroyed.

We were able to have 5 blasts frozen.  Had 2 FETs that failed and now 27 weeks after our 3rd FET (1 embryo each time)!  So still have 2 on ice for the future.

We got 3 to freeze, grades 4ba, 4bb and 3bb.  All frozen no attempt at a fresh transfer for us.

Unfortunately we didn't get any good enough to freeze out of the 4 that were left. Thankfully the one we transferred worked so fingers crossed it is a sticky bean.
