If you missed your period during your placebos is it normal to keep having pms signs?

I’m late by 2 days ( started my active pills again yesterday ) and my boobs still hurt and i get occasional cramps. I’m getting white discharge too and kind of freaking out.. i haven’t missed a single pill but i did have unprotected sex this month.. this is my 3rd month on lo loestrin fe and i got a very light period every month until this month

birth control can and will affect your period. i wouldn't worry if you miss one, but since you have had unprotected sex (and there is always a chance), i would test. but you do you.

Placebo pills do nothing they shouldn’t affect your period starting or stopping the real
