My son’s “dad” makes me depressed

Kaia • 1st time Mom to a beautiful baby boy 💙

I’ve been dealing with a lot with my “boyfriend” since giving birth to my son a little over 3 weeks ago. I’ve been trying to keep the peace because i want to focus on my son and breastfeeding, which I’ve been struggling with due to underproduction making me more depressed. We do not live together, we each live with our parents. This man literally refuses to help me because I have not brought our son over to his house to be with him and his family. He is only 3 weeks old and my car needs to be fixed so I haven’t been able to go over there on top of just being exhausted and recovering from a c section. Every time I ask him for anything he asks me why haven’t I asked my parents for help. Last night he finally stopped putting on the “boyfriend act” and told me he will not help me or give me money unless I bring our son to his house because he has everything he needs there so he can take care of him. I just can’t believe the way he’s treating me, he really thinks that it’s a good idea to ship my son back and forth between homes at such a young age. He refuses to come visit him and only comes to doctors appointments. I’m just so pissed about this situation and I don’t even want to get started on all the other drama he caused since the birth of our child.
