What to expect?

I’m almost 38 weeks. I’ve been swelling up pretty bad at night. My hands mainly. At My last 3 appointments I’ve had moderately high blood pressure. But not TOO high. Today though I had protein 1+ in my urine. And my dr said that was a sign of preeclampsia and to take it easy this weekend and come back before a week is up so they can check it again. So I go back on Tuesday. All he said was “if it still persists, we’ll have to do something about it by the end of the week.” Which tells me Nothing. What should I expect if it’s still elevated? I know that means an induction. But this is my first baby so I don’t really know what to expect with any of it.
