Birth control suggestions??

Okay guys so i’m 15, about to be 16 and my mom is wanting me to go on birth control. i want to get on it too because I don’t want to have an accident and get pregnant. however, i’m not sure which BC to get on😩 i’ve been asking my friends and looking at what everyone says on here but i still don’t know! I for sure don’t want the IUD, patch, or NuvaRing. I’m considering the pill, shot, and implant. I heard the shot has serious emotional effects, which sucks because I already have slight depression. With the pill, i’ll forget to take it everyday even if i set a reminder on my phone! and i heard the implant hurts so i just don’t know what to do. please help! 
p.s. No matter what BC i decide to get on, i’m still going to use condoms and the withdrawal method for extra protection.

How come you don’t want to get the IUD? Great method if you don’t want to worry about pregnancy or forgetting to take a pill.

i’m 15 and i have the implant !! it didn’t hurt for me and i’ve had no accidents :)) the only disadvantage for me at least is that me first few periods were like 14 days long... but they regulated after awhile

I honestly loved the patch, I just placed it on my hip so it was hidden with bathing suits and all. It was nice that if I forgot to change it each week it wasn’t a big deal cause I was still getting the meds from it. I tried the ring and it was terrible, it vanished once and had no idea tell I went to take it out and it gave me terrible cramps. I did the pill also, I was a fan of the pill, just set an alarm to remember every day to take it.  I wouldn’t do the ones that insert in your vagina, my sister did that and forgot
To get it removed when the time was up and it clogged her tubes and she had to get both removed and now can’t have anymore kids. The shot will make it
So you have to wait at least a year to get pregnant when you stop it so if you want kids even in 10 years don’t go for that cause it’s a year waiting period from what the doctors told me.

Don’t get the implant! It caused me to gain over 100 lbs in 2 years, (my doctor was baffled) and I’ve been hospitalized for cysts 3 times since I got it when I’ve never had one before I was on it. I got it out and the next week I had lost 18 lbs and I can finally be on a normal sleep schedule again. Implant was a total nightmare.

I got my implant about a month ago (almost) and I really love it so far. I just get really moody but I can catch myself and calm down and I started spotting for like 15 days and it’s finally stopped (I think). It doesn’t hurt, the only part that “hurts” is the numbing shot then after the numbing wears off if you move your arm funny you can feel it, at least I could. I think it’s definitely worth a shot, if you don’t like it you can always get it removed. Hope this helped

I did the pill on and off for 5 years but now I do the Nuvaring. You have to be comfortable touching yourself to insert it and check to make sure it's in place. It never really bothered me to do so. I liked the convenience of not having to do it daily.

I suggest you take the pill. Not only will it test your responsibility skills but also the pill you can stop taking it at any moment you please too. You don’t gain like a 50 or 20 pounds on the pill. And I am sure you do not smoke so the pillow is the best choice for you.
