Prayers ❤️

So I had my ultrasound Monday @ 19weeks 4days . The ultrasound was the one to check my baby for everything . It’s brain , organs , limbs , and so on . Everything seemed fine his little heart was beating good and I got to see his little hands and feet and watch him move around .

The next day I got a call from genetics that reviewed my ultrasound and found the nuchal area (neck) measuring 6.1mm and normal is under 6mm . Because of that 0.1 difference they wanted me to come back in and get another ultrasound to double check .

At this second ultrasound the doctor was somewhat unclucusive . At times he got a measurement more than 6mm then other times less that 6mm . He said it might be fine and that it could just be the angle that the measurement is being taken .

Genetics counselor talked to me about issues my baby could have because of the fluid build up (if there is any) like a chromosome issue (Down syndrome) or a heart problem .

I will be getting another ultrasound to check on my baby’s heart at 23weeks where they can check for any holes in his arteries .

I got the NVC test (I believe that’s what it’s called) to check for any chromosome issues and results should be in next week .

Has anyone else gone through this ? I know I will love my baby boy regardless but like any mom wishes their baby to be 100% healthy . I want to be prepared for anything but prayers are very much needed .
