Might have HPV

Got a call from my doctor that I could have HPV. I’m pregnant and they did a Pap test. She said it might not be HPV, it could just be my hormones kus the pregnancy. I’ve been with one man for years now, and supposedly he’s been faithful. But I googled and it says it’s sexually transmitted, so does this mean he was cheating??? I don’t understand how I could have gotten this, if we’ve both only been with each other for the last 3 years. I’m scared and confused. My doctor said nothing we can do now, but after I give birth do another Pap test and check.
