Help!

So I’m 6 weeks pregnant, and have really bad tonsillitis. I’ve had it many times in the past and seems to go away on its own. The doctor has put me on antibiotics (Clarithromycin 500mg) as I am allergic to Penicillin and Amoxicillin. I haven’t been taking them as I’ve read so many bad things about this antibiotic and don’t want to risk it. I don’t know what else to do... my throat feels a little better over the past day but I have more white patches on my tonsils and the back of my throat. I’ve been in tears about it this morning as I’m not sure what to do! ☹️ I went to the pharmacist to get a second opinion the lady said it will go away on its own as normally it does. But I don’t want it to affect the baby 😢
