When to pump? (Exclusively breast feeding)

My son is 9 days old today and I have been exclusively breastfeeding him. I’m up every 2 hours with him (it was even more in his first days of life) and I need to start pumping for times when I need to leave the house or in case of an emergency or something. So mamas who exclusively breast feed and also pump, when do you think is the best time of day to do it? Should i pump in between feedings? I’m very nervous to pump for some reason

feed him, then when he's full and done, pump as soon as you put him down.

So the way I did it was I would switch sides with my daughter every time I fed her. So, if I fed her on my right side, I would pump my left, and then switch for the next feeding. If that males sense? She would still get enough milk and I also pumped enough to last me when I needed it

I’m no expert but I’d pump while he eats. Kinda hard to build a stash that way. But then your body won’t think you’re feeding two

I pump first thing in the morning and have built up a good stash that way
