World Breastfeeding Week ❤️

They don’t tell you how hard it is in the beginning. The lack of sleep, the pain, learning how to nurse. Becoming a mom, there has been so many happy moments but yet, many difficult moments. Moments feeling helpless and scared. Feeling isolated and alone. They say it takes a village..... Having the support and faith from my sons father, God, my family and other mommas, has been a blessing and I can’t thank them enough, because I wouldn’t be where I am today. Being able to nourish my baby from the body God provided me with, to see my baby thrive and grow is so rewarding and movitvation to keep nursing, and continue our breastfeeding journey for months to come. I’m proud, grateful, sometimes hesitant but always brave.
