Please help

This is a question for people whose ever traded a car or selling it.

So my car is in bad shape in the front tire area but everything else is perfectly fine. I haven’t sold a car or traded it in before but I was wondering the process of that? I will be without a car for months because I don’t have the money for it. I was thinking about selling it and getting a new car or trading it in for another car.

It’s gonna take about 2,000 for all repairs but I not have the money or I won’t for awhile and I have no other friends or family that would take me far to my job or wake up at 4am for me. Please don’t be brutal if I said something stupid I don’t understand cars or how to do business with them I was just wondering because I really need a car bad and trading and selling seems to be the only two options I have.
